Hi steve,

Since I usually have an ample supply in the summer I often chum an area with a small handful of larvae before throwing my hook out. Many of the fish I catch and clean have several larvae in their stomachs. The down side to this is that I think I'm losing my patience for regular fishing... :)

I've been composting with BSF Larvae for the second year or so. I first found that my ducks love them. However, this year my kids took up fishing in our pond. We stocked it with blue gill and catfish several years ago and these fish act the same way by waiting along the shore for eats. Using as bait, the larvae will get hits immediately after casting. It's beautiful.

Thanks Ryan, I did buy a polarized filter and I think I used it in this video. Or maybe this was before I had it. It's a Hoya circular polarizing filter.

You should get a polarized filter for your camera. A filter would reduce or eliminate the reflected glare on the water, and the compressed video would look much cleaner as well.
