A few weeks ago I received the latest version of the BioPod™ Plus and I’ve been testing it with very good results. Today the first mature larvae began dropping into the harvest bucket and the unit has functioned well. I’m a big fan of do-it-yourself projects, but for people who don’t have the skills or inclination to build a BSF composter from scratch the BioPod is a good alternative. After a year off from using a commercially produced BSF composter I must say that I’m enjoying the convenience of this product. It also looks better sitting by the backdoor than my DIY unit.
