| I have manure from my dog kennel. Would that be a better food for bsfl rather than say household kitchen waste? And does too much water kill the bsfl? |

| I have a good start I have attracted them and have them in several buckets. I am adding egg laying cardboard today. I have not yet set up a harvester. I have 55 gallon barrels I could use. I have 5 gallon buckets I could use. I have material to make a bug barracks. Which would be best? Im on a farm ... |

| yep that the one. One of my bait station had no movement from the bsf larvae so I fed the pieces to the chickens and started that bucket over. | I have them started in my bait bucket but need to start transferring them to something they won't crawl out of. There was a big bin that I saw somewhere that was v shaped and very large to hold a lot of grubs. Does anyone know a link where I could build a large bin? |

| im pretty confident I have them now how do I get them to expand and should I put the velcro around the bucket so they won't crawl up the sides although they don't look like they are but Im a greenhorn. I love this and I sure hope I can get a bin made that works. Should I combine all buckets or keep ... |

I think ive got them. Is there any chance that a common house fly larvae would look the same as the bsfl? I ve got one or the other or both. But I definately have larvae whether itis bsfl Im not sure. I don't know how to post pictures of my larvae but I have them with my camera phone. |

| We may have them started there are grubs in several of my buckets but I'm not sure if they are bsf or not. Some are white some are gray and there is a lot of others bugs and gnats in there also. Jay Jay,
If im in your area would there be a chance to get a start of grubs from you? I have not got them coming yet, at least Im not sure. I had some larve but im not sure if it is common house fly or soldier fly. |
