As requested, here's an update to my map entry:-

Coordinates: -29.831561 (South) 30.931596 (East)
Altitude: 750 ft ASL

Image

Last sighting of the season: 25 July 2012
First sighting of new season: 02 September 2012
First egg clusters: 07 September 2012
Midday Temperatures: around 25º C (77º F)

Pete you lucky bugger! Apparently Durban is 3 degrees warmer on average than Perth and I can see where it shows...

A couple of flies emerging outdoors in mid winter; and our typical outdoor temperatures.
To be fair, there aren't very many at this time of year. :(
