I spent most of a day picking about 200 dark larvae out of my compost pile. Then I carefully put them on some cooked, unseasoned, mashed sweet potato.

Then I admired them all the next day.

A couple days later, my dog somehow knocked the container off the table and ate most of them with the sweet potato. So I just put the survivors back in the compost pile and let them go free.

The larvae looked like all the other larvae on the BioPod board, but I never saw an adult. And I don't have photo capability on this ancient (Fred Flintstone's) computer.

Not what you wanted, eh?

Sue
