Snack time today for our new chicks... this is what healthy chicks look like. Especially when they get a little BSFL in their diet.

This is my current bin. I'm changing the design and going to make it a double ramp. You can see my drain whole that I turned into a drop zone for rouge crawlers. Actually collect a lot trying to go out the back. What you see in the bin on top is a bunch of cuttings from a recent banana harvest, its the trunk of the banana tree cut up. I'm guessing they'll like that as a snack, we'll see, they've loved everything else I've thrown in there.

Thanks for sharing the video. Going to a dual ramp design is a good idea (link). It should avoid larvae piling up in the right angle corners.

Looking forward to seeing your next bin :)

Sure thing...

My dual ramp system will be a bit different than the one you posted a link to. Will post when done.

Have a great weekend.
