The indoor small pilot system...
+-500 flies in the system
temps have not been playing along...raining, windy and cold...very limited sun.
I have collected 3 more egg clusters but with no control or little control over temps and light because I rely on sunlight and we just not had much

Beautiful vegetables, as always francois!

Congratulations on the captive breeding.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you grow in the BSF castings...

Thanks for updating your inspiring topic!

Hi All
I release all the BSF I had indoors....collected some egg cluster and larvae indoors...I found most of the eggs were laid directly into the food I had out...only 3 clusters in cardboard, more larvae in the bait...cardboard was a no no
I will try again winter with lights
I am happy with what i learned from this exercise...now i am thinking of doing a small project indoors outside in a shade house ......my next exercise
the birds had a feast

200 liters of brewing bsfl castings
i used the tea on my plants and in the system...the fish were not to happy...
i added 14 liters into the system...i wont do that again
This is the second time i have done this and notice the fish dont eat the next day...i will rather spray the plants in the aquaponic system and see what happens
