Post Question on Dr. Tomberlin's Paper
Hey guys havent been posting recently since I've been trying to figure out many things, but the other day I happen reread Dr Tomberlin's (and others) paper on artificial light and mating and thought something was off... I wanted to comment it to the community to see what you guys think.

They use an Apogee quantum sensor to measure PAR which measures photons. cool. Their results conclude the following. they achieve best mating results at 110 PAR at 10am. I want to base a design for light intensity based on this statement.

My problem with the paper is that apparently, they measure a peak PAR of 200 micro mol per meter squared per second at 1 pm in the afternoon.
That is throwing me off since in Apogee's website they say, that at full sunlight (like it should be at 1pm), the output of the sensor and sun should be around 2000 PAR.

Sooo... what you guys think of this?
