Hi, I'm a noob from Texas. Well... I'm not a total noob to raising/collecting BSF. Here is a link to my first system.
That system worked, but had a lot of problems. It was too small and didn't drain well. The system that I used next was the bottom half of a 55 gallon drum. It was nice and big, but I never got around to installing the ramps... so I harvested by hand. I'm still using that half barrel for now, but this year it's been really hot and I've had very little activity.
