Yes, I'm interested in any updates as well. That is one gorgeous design! I hope it's as functional as it is beautiful.

This design did look interesting and I wanted to know how this functioned in practice. I saw it before the web page got messed up, but I don't recall any "plans", so perhaps he intended them for sale. If anyone built one, if he sold those and someone has them... Please post your results!
I think it might be helped out with a filterbug type filter instead of what was pictured in the video. Or some other sort of really secure, very fine filter setup. I would assume the female entry point would need a smaller opening, and or nails driven through the area, to exclude mice and birds.
It also appealed to me as something that looked fairly easy to get well insulated for more winter type locations, and to help prevent temp. fluctuations.
