Post Hi from Koekenaap, Western Cape, South Africa
Hi there, I saw this BSF topic coming up while doing aquaponic research. What a fantastic fly and use of it. Never to old to learn.

Hope I can learn from all of you and also to get a very good production of BSFL going for my animals and fish.

Stoney welcome to our forum :) BSF have been reported in South Africa on our Black Soldier Fly Mapping Project (link).

If you find you do have a wild population of BSF see the 'Range and Identification' section (link) for instructions on adding your location.
